Alice is regularly inspired by the way in which ideas, techniques and motifs travel across vast landscapes to reappear in entirely different cultures and places, and her work frequently juxtaposes forms and patterns across geographical boundaries and eras. Jacobean was born from the connection she made between the wooden ceilings in the Red Fort in Lahore and their counterparts in Hampton Court Palace, a reminder that the globalization of ideas has centuries old roots.

The collection launched exclusively with Twist in the US and Carpenters Workshop Jewellery in the UK. This initial colourway is produced in an edition of 8; Twist carry edition 1 and Carpenters carry edition 2 unless otherwise indicated.
